Let's face it. Information about sex is everywhere for our children to see. They will learn about it somehow, but most young people say that parents are the ones they want to hear it from. Learning about sex from parents goes far beyond the dreaded "birds and bees" talk for kids. By getting the talk at home, kids see their parents as role models and begin to formulate values and beliefs that will help shape their lives and have a major effect on their sexual behavior as adults.
